It will all take place at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC). If you are flying, we recommend Midway Airport (MDW), which is much closer to LSTC than O’Hare Airport (ORD). From Midway Airport to LSTC, please allow at least 45 minutes travel time (and $25 fare if by taxi cab or $2.25 by bus); from O’Hare Airport to LSTC, please allow at least 90 minutes travel time (and $50 fare if by taxi cab or $2.50 by train and bus). A light breakfast, box lunch, mid-afternoon snack and evening banquet will be served the day of the symposium. Lunch is free if you have pre-registered for the Symposium before April 9, 2010. Yes. If you need audiovisual support (e.g., projection equipment), please let us know in advance by emailing [email protected] and we will assist you with setup that day. The LSTC building also has wireless internet access if needed, but please plan to have audio and visual components (audio files, video clips, etc.) downloaded prior to your presentation to ensure their availability.
